Lucie Dias Fernandes is a Junior Legal Consultant at Spark Legal and Policy Consulting. She joined the company in September 2024.
Before joining Spark, Lucie worked as a consultant on EU policy projects, in the fields of climate action, environmental policy and energy for various DGs such as DG ENV, DG CLIMA, DG ENER and DG ECHO. Lucie has contributed to several projects mobilising her legal expertise, such as the Update of the EIA Guidance, analysing the compliance and enforcement mechanisms within the EU Emissions Trading System, and assistance with the verification of compliance and legislative measures implementing Directive 2018/2022 on energy efficiency and Directive 2018/844 on the energy performance of buildings.
Lucie holds a Master's degree in European Business law from Université Jean Moulin Lyon.
Her mother tongue is French, and she speaks English fluently. She has a good understanding of German.
