Leila Debiasi is a Trainee Legal Consultant at Spark Legal and Policy Consulting, having joined the team in 2026.
Leila obtained a bachelor’s degree in European law from the University of Trento in 2023 with a thesis on smart contracts and consumer protection. She completed her LLM in Law and Technology in Europe from Utrecht University in 2024, and her master’s thesis focused on data protection rights of victims of domestic violence in Belgium and Italy.
Before joining Spark, Leila completed a traineeship at noyb – the European Center for Digital Rights in Vienna, focused on upholding data protection rights through strategic litigation. Before that, she worked at the European Institute of Public Administration as a Digital Policy intern, supporting the creation and delivery of training courses on data protection, AI and cybersecurity for public officials.
Leila is a native Italian speaker, fluent in English, and has a good understanding of French.
