Gwenaëlle Iquel is a Trainee Legal Consultant at Spark Legal and Policy Consulting, having joined in April 2025.
Gwenaëlle graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Western Brittany in France. She then obtained her Master’s degree in Public International Law (with a specialisation in law of International Organisations) at the University Lyon 3 Jean Moulin in France in 2023. Finally, she graduated from Leiden University in the Netherlands in 2024 with an L.LM in European Law.
Before joining Spark, Gwenaëlle worked at the Women's Foundation in Paris, an NGO specialised in promoting women's rights and offering legal assistance to women victims of violence. She was also a Schuman trainee at the European Parliament where she worked at the Legal service, on scientific and economic policies.
Gwenaëlle is a native French speaker, speaks English fluently and has a good command of Spanish.
